Jocelyn & Ryan have been working together in hospitality since the day they met. Ryan hired Jocelyn to manage a luxury B&B on Nantucket and the rest, as they say, is history. Jocelyn, who graduated from The Culinary Institute of America and Cornell's University's School of Hotel Administration, has had a love for pushing the envelope with food since she started watching Food Network as teenager making 3 course meals for her family. Ryan is her partner in crime and together they started the local prepared meal delivery company Living Fit. He has successfully run a B&B, a local wedding photography company, and is the chief taste tester, operations manager, and custom wood carpenter hand making much of the seating and shelving accents in The Lodge. With two young children and a growing business life is never dull!
Food & Beverage Director
Born and raised in central Ohio, Mark sees a deep connection between where our food comes from and the people raising it. Mark served in the U.S.M.C and while stationed in Cuba developed a love of Caribbean flavors. For the last decade Mark has been in the low country of South Carolina, being inspired by the styles and flavors of southern cuisine.
Bar & Event Manager
Jess was born and raised in the Raleigh, NC area with deep roots to the local restaurant and music scene. She is our master bar and event manager who is an expert at crafting not only the perfect cocktail, but the ultimate guest experience. She manages all event and musician bookings for The Lodge and Cypress Manor, and will always go above and beyond to ensure you have the perfect experience.
